“Children are budding stars, the more you embrace them, the more they shine”
Children's Day is observed on November 14 to raise awareness about children's rights, care, and education. The day is dedicated to India's first prime minister, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, fondly known as ‘Chacha Nehru’ who advocated for a well-rounded education for youngsters. Children, according to Nehru, are the true power of a Nation and the cornerstone of a Society.
We as an Institution truly believe that the children give us endless reasons to be happy. To commemorate this day, our youngest learners of Grade Pre-Nursery came dressed up as their favourite cartoon characters and actively participated in the 'Cartoon Capers' class activity. Learners were overjoyed to play games like 'Move n Freeze' and 'Boojho To Jaanein' while dressed in their brightest outfits. Grade Nursery and Prep celebrated this day with teachers, dressed up as children, reliving their childhood days and our little learners actively participating in many amusing games and entertaining activities. The significance of the day was explained to Grade I learners through a video presentation. Learners of Grade II & III enthusiastically took part in fun games and quizzes. Children and teachers danced and swayed to fun tunes and delightful music beats.
Keep the kid inside you alive, even if you're an adult!
Happy Children’s Day!
