‘Teach a child, educate the parents’

Lotus Valley InternationalSchool firmly believes in partnering with parents to support and enhance the learning curve of our dear children. Even the tumultuous times of pandemic could not mar this spirit, as, in adversity, we sought opportunity. In times when everything was restructured, teachers worked incessantly to become co-parents and parents became co-teachers to work hand in hand for the growth and development of learners. In our endeavour to do the same,a virtual workshop ‘Innovative Trails’ was organized on 24th May’22 for the parents of Grade Prep. The workshop included a sneak-peak into how concepts are imparted to the learners in a fun and interactive way through various hands-on activities, encouraging them to think critically and creatively. Mentors shared their innovative pedagogies to drive concepts and for children to apprehend them more effectively.A short presentation for all the subjects was included as a part of the workshop which comprised of various warm up exercises and games for the parents.

It proved to be a perfect platform for the mentors and parents to connect, address queries on how to help learners advance their erudition, achieve greater cognitive competence and raise them to be individuals of a society where education is just not a means to earn their livelihood but a way of life.
