Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram hosted the 4th & the Final Scholar Badge Ceremony of the Ac Session on 14th July 2023 to celebrate the Scholastic and Co-scholastic achievements of scholars of Grades X & XII (Outgiong Class of ‘23. The School Auditorium reverberated with high, positive energy as proud parents and scholars gathered to witness the prestigious event.
The ceremony commenced on an auspicious note with the chanting of the mantras and ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The anchors for the day, Abhimanyu Arora (Grade XI) and Myra Sharma (Grade IX) extended a hearty welcome to the special guests- School Patron, respected Dr. Shayama Chona , School Chairperson Ms. Jaspreet Kaur and Ms. Sureena Uppal, Member, Managing Committee. Thereafter, Jaanvi Pande, President Student Council & Anirudh Govindan, Vice- President Student Council presented an exordium as they shared the essence of the Scholar Badge Ceremony. Directed-Principal, Ms. Anita Malhotra, in her address advised the young learners to focus on their moral compass that will help shape their personal and professional lives. She encouraged the young scholars to be go-getters and carry forward the progressive values, keeping the banner of Lotus Valley International School soaring high. Ma’am applauded the students who had distinguished themselves through hard work, grit and determination.
Eighty five scholars of Grade X, CBSE Board Exam received certificates and badges. Super-scholars of Grade XII, CBSE Boards were honoured with Golden plaques for maintaining their scholar status year after year. The Grade X school topper, Dhruvika Reddy and the Grade XII stream toppers- Advay Awasthi (Humanities), Hiya Jain (Commerce), Suchit Srivastava & Ananya Prakash (Science) were felicitated with an honorarium as a token of appreciation for their academic excellence. The special Guest, Dr. Shayama Chona, extended her blessings and warm wishes to proud parents and the deserving scholars, in her address she elaborated how the school encourages the holistic development of its students and provides them with numerous opportunities to grow.
The cultural extravaganza interwoven with the announcement of Scholars created an ebullient ambience to the celebration. The high spirited and vibrant song ‘Eye of the Tiger’ spurred the spirit of positivity and the joy of victory. The event concluded with a spellbinding shadow dance performance ‘pehchaan- the journey of self-discovery’ leaving the audience awestruck as they witnessed a soul- stirring rendition presented by the learners of Grades VI to IX. A heartwarming note of gratitude was expressed by the Head boy, Shaurya Agarwal and the Head girl, Kaina Malik .
