The IT Club _ Unparalleled DevOps, of Lotus Valley International School, Gurugram, celebrated its maiden Virtual IT Fest, Binary Bots, on July 31, 2021.
Unparalleled DevOps Club, the idea that was conceived and conceptualised by our school’s two young minds, Amitesh Anand Pandey and Freya Sidhwa with the able guidance of the Computer Department Head, Mr Amit Dhingra, enlivened the tech enthusiasts to delve deeper into the unseen perplexities of this vivacious world.
The Fest endeavoured to explore, enliven and ignite young minds with the mystic world of Computer Science and Technology at large! A bouquet of edifying, participative and instructive events were conceptualized by the Club, and the event received an overwhelming response by way of enthusiastic participation of 400 students from schools across Delhi-NCR.
The event opened with a heart-warming welcome address by our Director Principal, Ms Anita Malhotra. In her message, madam urged learners to take on the world by being most adept in computer technology, however, being mindful of its application towards the betterment and progress of the world at large.
Our most beloved School Patron, Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan, Dr. Shayama Chona, owing to her pressing engagements could not be present in the event. Madam conveyed her ardent blessings and best wishes with a cheering and an encouraging audio message.
In her message, madam counselled learners to never bereft themselves with integrity and grace in the pursuit of their goals. Dr. Chona emphasised the importance of competitions with regard to newer technological inventions, and requested young leaders of tomorrow to respect the privacy of one another as they delve deeper into this enigmatic world of Information Technology.
Our special guest of the opening ceremony, a technology evangelist, Mr. Kartik Sharma, guided learners about the gamut of Artificial Intelligence which is going to be deep rooted in every planning and preparedness for the coming years.
Our special guest of the valedictory ceremony, the Principal of NPS International School, Guwahati, Dr. Dheeraj Mehrotra, a visionary and a library in himself when it comes to neuro linguistics and computer technology. Dr. Mehrotra stated that it is more important to develop coding on head top than coding with key pad. He emphasised to learners to be heedful on the preparedness for the unknown and affirmed that intelligence is the best currency!
The event could not have been possible but for the indomitable love, appreciation and support of our honourable Chairperson, Ms. Jaspreet Kaur and honourable Member of the Management Committee, Ms. Sureena Uppal.
The zealous contribution by every participant augmented the truest essence of the event. The day was a beautiful amalgamation of informed learning, creativity and passion.
